PSU Decision for gaming rig

The basic outline of the rig im using is as follows.

Motherboard - ASUS LGA 1155 - Z68 - PCIe 3.0 and UEFI BIOS Intel Z68 ATX DDR3 2200 LGA 1155 Motherboards P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3

CPU - Intel i5 Ivy Bridge 3570k

RAM - Corsair Vengeance Blue 16 GB DDR3 SDRAM Dual Channel Memory Kit CMZ16GX3M4A1600​C9B

Drives - 1TB WD Caviar Black 7200rpm 64GB cache
and
SSD OCZ 128G Vertex 4

Graphics - Galaxy GeForce gtx670

The burning question is how much wattage do I need. And also should I go with Cooler Master or Corsair.

  1. a solid 520w+ PSU w/ 40a on the 12v is plenty of power for your PC
    750w if you plan to run the GTX 670 in SLI

    of the two you linked I would get the corsair but the 650w version if you don't need to run two cards. other options are the seasonic 520w & 620w PSU, PC power and cooling 600w PSU, antec's 520w & 620w PSU. plenty of options in that range.
