Hi is it something I'm doing or is it a coincidence that my PS1 Analog
controller won't work with EA Games. Why should we have to fall foul into
SONY's marketing swizz and be forced to buy another controller? Obviously I
have the conttoller that came with the PS2 but why should I buy another
controller when the old PS1 controller works fine with most 2 player games
on the PS2 except EA Games titles?

PS1 controllers work fine with PS2 games. They only difference between a
PS1 and PS2 controller is that the PS2 controller has pressure sensitive
buttons and the cord is longer. There must be something wrong with your
controller if it doesn't properly with PS2 games.

Because music is more important to me than playing games.

If you're a pauper then WTF are you doing buying £300 mp3 players? I'm
not a pauper and I would dream of spending that much on an electonic
gizmo that is liable to break easily like this one apparently has.

So then stop complaining about the controller from a more than a decade old
system and listen to your music.

To read what he says about PS2 joypads you'd think they cost hundreds, not a
few dollars.

That is on top of the fact that he is trying to skate buy with decade old
equipment that doesn't even function the same.

Seriously. If money's such a problem, he can always by the
cheap Gamestop controllers. Those will work just fine with EA
games.
