Hello, i m planing on buying a new PC for gaming @ 1280x720 on my 32" TV (my monitor is pretty smal 15", and i don't want to spend extra cash on new monitor instead on better hardware). I want to be able to play all games on highest settings at 30+ frames.

I can get two pre-built PC (i know that building PC myself is better and cheaper, but in my country it is actualy more expensive) with an FX 4100 and a gtx 560non ti or a PC with gtx 550ti and a i5 3450 for about the same price (PSU in these both builds is Thermaltake Toughpower TX 575W,it should be good enough). What settup will perform better on 1280x720 resolution (i heard somwhere that lower resolutions are more CPU dependant,so the i5 may be better).

Hmmmm, I am running an fx-4100 with a gtx 560 and it runs BF3 on highest settings at 1080p, without any trouble what so ever.
Granted it is the 900mhz OC'd Sparkle card but that shouldn't make much of a difference... I also have the cpu clocked at 4.5Ghz... but with this combination I've never had problems with any games. :)
