If it WILL work, will it run basic graphics at a good FPS?

For a $600 build, I'm sure you can do much much better.

i3-2100 $125 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
ASRock H61 Motherboard $55 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
4GB Mushkin RAM $22 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
500GB 7200RPM SeaGate HDD $85 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
ASUS DVD-RW $21 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
CM Elite 430 $50 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

This totals about $350 which leaves about $300 to put to a GPU and PSU.

Corsair 500w $60 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Gigabyte GTX 560Ti $209 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

$627 total (without rebates).

....And wow I'm actually quite impressed with the value for money of this build haha! This build will easy be able to play all the latest games (BF3/Skyrim....ect) in high-ultra details with a good FPS.
