Sapphire Radeon 6850 Problem.

So I just bought this card. I installed it and everything was fine. Play dirt 3 on max setting for the whole night. I turn off my PC and went to bed wake up in the morning turn my PC on and I got a problem. The screen freeze and flashing and display weird stuff. I have 600W PSU so IDK what is going here. IS this just a bad card or something wrong with me PC? Im switch back to my radeon 4600 and it works fine.

Probably a bad card since the 4600 works fine.

did you install the latest drivers ? did you try the GPU with different cable connection or in another PC ?

Yea I download the lastest version of on thier website. However, I didnt remove the radeon 4600 though. SHould I? I mean i didnt the 1st night and it works great.

Sounds like a driver issue to me.Something must be conflicting.Try to resintall the drivers and reboot.

oki so im gonna uninstall the 4600 driver and the 6850 drivers and then reinstall th 6850 again?

I tried ur method and it still like that.

Did you not install the 6850 drivers as soon as you got the card?

No i did install the new driver for the 6850 be4 i use it

If it's a brand new card and it was working before a reboot then everything points to something driver related but it could also be a defective card.Just doesn't make sense.

ik it makes no sense. I mean it works for the 1st night. Woke up in the morning turn on PC and got the problem out of no where. IDK if i should exchange the the new card or just get another 1

You might as well go for an exchange.I've heard that Sapphire has good customer support.Might be worth a try.
