Building a new pc

hey, i have recently decided to build my own pc, and after a bit of research have found out that only certain parts will fit into certain others. i just wanted to know will the following items all fit together, why/why not and reccomendations:
intel core i7. 1155 slot

You are on the right track , but if this computer is for gaming its not an optimal way to spend money
