Hey everybody Just a few quick questions, and thanks to anyone reading, or answering, just taking time to scan through my problem.

Anyway Does this build look clear?

Compatible?

Ram, cpu, motherboard, graphics? all ok together?

And finally do you see any bottlenecks.

Also Considering that my cpu uses 95W, and my graphics uses 127W at full load, do you think my 500w PSU should suffice, With it being not "Top-Brand" It'll probably pump out 385W, is that sufficient? Thanks.

Please answer my questions though, too often people answer with "Replace this" then end the answer, leaving me still unresolved. Thanks a million, finally after all of this babbling here is the build.

PSU is too expensive, and yes Ill get a different Hard drive, if prices fall, but at this point that 160gb hard drive is all i can afford, while keeping my CPU/GFX card nice.

But is it compatible?

2 Quick things, I like amazon 1 no tax 2 return policy is the best ever.

Also is that hard drive going to have problems with the EIDE.

I dont mind the brand reviews are good. And 160gb is pleanty for cod games

I didn't even know Maxtor was still around.

For $680 this would be a far better build, IMO (nothing against the 960T but you should heavily consider the i3-2120) :

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 - $59.99
PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX600 - $69.99
Motherboard: Asrock Z68 Extreme 3 Gen 3 - $121.99
CPU: 3.30 GHz Intel Core i3-2120 - $129.99
RAM: PNY XLR8 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 - $44.99
HD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB - $89.99
Optical: Lite On DVD Burner - $17.99
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 - $164.99

Total: $691.92

With this build you get a CPU that will run circles around the 960T, a slightly better GPU, a far better case and PSU (that won't explode on you  ), and a motherboard that will last a long time.

Really - don't go cheap on the case. You want one that will last you through a few builds and upgrades with minimum fuss and isn't cheaply constructed - I have the HAF 912 and it's one of the best cases in the market for its' price. Really solidly constructed and well ventilated - and it will prolong the life of your components, which a $24 case won't do.

DUDE COOL PSU perfection! the corsair

A lot of people have mixed opinions on the CX series - I've used them in a few builds (including my HTPC) and they're really solid, quiet and well constructed, and for the price they're a freakin' steal.

You used more expensive parts across the board, but came out with a cheaper price, lol (bang for the buck, and only 10$ more) i think my math is screwy!??!

IMO, Newegg is a better supplier than Amazon - most of the parts you've linked to are used (Maxtor doesn't exist anymore) and all the parts I linked to on Newegg are new and less likely to have something go wrong. You have to look at it in terms of longevity - do you want to go cheap and then spend tons of time replacing something, or do you want to get the best for your budget and not have to worry? Think about that.

I realize I also didn't include an OS in mine but that's no big waste of budget or anything, it's better to spend the money on your components and get the OS and everything else after that.

DO you have a time frame for your build? Because if you really want to keep costs down, you can look for sales on some of the individual parts, like case OS, etc.

Also, if you are near a Micro Center, tell us. They have really great prices for some components and you may be able to upgrade your cpu/mobo for not much more.

Nvm, and not to be mean, but actually i made my build better by adding parts, and amazon was cheaper on the psu, and cheaper on the hard drive (by 1 dollar) haha and the reason yours was cheaper was because you didnt add windows seven. I replaced the HDD the GFX and the PSU, and this is my new one.

if you insist that i should replace the case let me know, but will the case suffice?

!~NEW BUILD~!

All i know its around 800$ which is ok because 700 w/o os.

And my main reason i like amazon, is because IF ANYTHING goes wrong, with in 30 days they take it back, and the shipping is on them, ive had wayy to much hassle with new eggs return policy, refund being deducted for quote on quote "restocking" and then me paying for shipping back when DOA was there fault

I never expect people to take all my suggestions seriously - after all it's your system and you ultimately decide what goes in it or not.

That case looks like it'd be OK but it's quite a bit outdated. It doesn't have top ventilation and it has a top-mounted PSU. Where the HAF 912 (or Antec 300) both have bottom-mounted PSUs and mounts for top fans, which will increase the air flow in your system and therefore increase its' longevity.

If you want to stick with AMD (the i3-2120 will be faster but the 960T is more budget-friendly) I'll offer a newer motherboard suggestion as the NFORCE 630 is quite a bit outdated and won't work correctly with a 960T which is a newer CPU than it can handle. Try this for an AMD motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157280
