Hi,

I currently have a GTX 260 (216 core) video card and I've been thinking about upgrading.

Here are my two choices:

is the 6870 worth the extra $40?

or should I wait for better deals, I browse around a lot and I am not in dire need of a new card, but I thought these were pretty good deals.

-the XFX 6870 I linked to has a lifetime warranty (which I may not ever use) and 2GB RAM opposed to the 2 year warranty and 1 GB ram of the Powercolor. So I guess it depends if that justifies $30 more dollars.

As far as the 6950 is concerned, it's a bit out of my price range at around $200 and up.

Oh, ok. The 6950 is only $50 more. Some have rebates. You could also wait until the next gen cards are released. Prices may go down making the 6950 more affordable.
