Well, building a new computer, and got it all sorted for everything except my graphics card, and I'm stuck between buying a Geforce Gigabyte GTX 570 OC, or SC: http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/nvidiageforcegraphicscards/nvidiagtx570fermiseries/gv-n570oc-13i.html, http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/nvidiageforcegraphicscards/nvidiagtx570fermiseries/gv-n570so-13i.html

But then I noticed that 2 6870s in Crossfire had better performance in Battlefield 3 than a single GTX 570 http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/atiradeongraphicscards/atihd6800series/eah6870dc2di2s1gd5.html.
(http://www.sweclockers.com/image/diagram/2502?k=bf9fb52c55c2028b03a3ead1c1963ac9 , Yes it's in swedish, thats where I'm at),

In Sweden the 2 6870s land at the same price as the 570 SC.

Also, I'm planning on keeping my old PSU, which is a Corsair VX550, and I've heard it should handle the GTX 570, but not sure about the 6870s in crossfire? Also, will 2 6870s fit in my new motherboard: http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/motherboards/intel1155z68chipsetmotherboards/p8z68-vprogen3.html?

Also only running a 20" screen at 1024x1280, but planning on upgrading the screen in maybe half a year or so.

Help appriciated! Cheers //LtnCharles

Forgot to say, I will be playing the likes of Battlefield 3 and Skyrim, and want to be able to max them out, also I don't think I'll be able to afford the new cards, on a 300£ budget (in English terms, cause stuff is cheaper in Sweden!). Also very sceptic (after some research), if my PSU can handle two 6970s at all...

IF you'll upgrade your monitor soon to a high resolution one, i would recommend GTX 570, one high end GPU is always better than crossfiring 2 mid range GPUs.

Also, what's your CPU ?

i5 2500K.

But have decided on a 6970, cause of the high VRam, cause I decided to think further than BF3 basically.
And even if in a year it fails on me, i'll just get another one and CF them.

570....
Get a 6790 and upgrade when GTX600 and radeon 7000 are here.

I agree, that's what I would do since the radeon 7xxx are supposedly coming out in January. I'm sure if nothing else it will make for some good deals on 6970's.
