Hi everyone, I have a regular 18.5 " LCD monitor w/ max resolution of 1366x768.. i bought a sapphire hd 5670 1 gb ddr 5 vga.. i want to play in to 1600 resolution.. is this possible with my monitor?? I don't see that option in the settings.

updated drivers w/ 11.11 v catalyst, running at 30 fps w/ fraps on 1280x768 high settings. it's quite a bit low though, i was expecting it to be at 40+ fps. any suggestions on how to improve fps.. game is cod mw3 will purchase battlefield 3 later this month..

system specs:
amd phenom ii x2 (unlocked to x4 @stock)
2x2gb ddr3 1333 gskill ripjaws x
msi785g-e53 mobo

No, that would be the highest resolution. As for the video card, it isn't very high end. If you want to run BF3, you will need MUCH more power.

Wrong.
My brother has a 512mb sapphire 5670 in his AMD rig at 1366x768 on medium playing BF3 with 30-60fps.

Hm. Well, that is different that what I have seen. My hd6850 ran BF3 at 30 FPS generally.

He said on medium, which doesn't make any sensation of benefiting from the High GFX visuals, so you were right.
