Hello all

I'm putting together my new system as we speak... <--doesn't make sense but whatever.

Asus P8P67 Pro Rev 3.1
i5 2500k
16gb Corsair Vengeance 9-9-9-24 (4x4gb)
EVGA 570 GTX company superclocked.
PH-TC14PE CPU cooling fan <--- it's like Godzilla... but bigger!
Coolermaster 850 W PSU (Modular whatever that means)
A WD 1TB HDD 7200 SATA 6G
Simple DVD reader/burner by LG

All of this stored in a HAF 932 full tower case... bigger than I expected. It's been about 4 years since I last built a system. Now my problem is this, the desk my current PC is housed in, has a cabinet... This newer case is bigger than I anticipated as I stated 5 seconds ago. I was going to shove in new system in old cabinet.

So basically is there a better place for me to store my new PC?

Ok just for reference my current system is

AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000+ @3.0Ghz
Asus M3n78 Pro
750 W Corsair PSU
ATI EAH 4870 HD 1GB <-- can't believe this card is still so awesome
2 Old HDDs
4 GB of semi decent Ram.. Patriot I believe.
DVD Burner
DVD Reader

So temps are Crysis 2 after a good 1 hour session CPU is about 56-61'C (132.8-141.8 'F) MB hangs around 43-46'C (109-115'F) On Skyrim the CPU is around 51'C (124'F) MB hangs around 42'C (108'F).
CPU IDLE: 43'C 109'F
MB IDLE: 35'C 95'F
4870 IDLE: 44'C 110'F
4870 goes up to around 60'C (138'F) or so on both games
In a nice Thermaltake Soprano case
I think these are pretty good temps for simple air cooling.

I'd appreciate some advice as to where you think I should store my new rig? Cabinet? or under the desk, with the Sub woofer? I don't have much room to work with... I could always cut a whole in a side panel(MB Side) in the cabinet to allow air flow to side of the case. But not the other side as there are shelves. The back of the cabinet is empty i.e. no back panel.

Cabinet Dimensions: HAF 932 Dimensions: Soprano Dimensions:
Height: 23 3/4 inches Height: 22 1/2 inches Height: 18 1/2 inches
Width: 11inches Width: 9 Inches Width: 8 Inches

Thanks for reading.
