  1. @ the OP A few obvious changes I can see.

    1) That HD is dirt slow

    2) That Asus mobo is already outdated and is meant for a dual card set up. You want a Gen 3 board that supports PCI-E 3.0

    3) That Rosewill psu is complete junk

    4) This new PCI-E 3.0 vid card down below out performs the gtx 580 and does it for cheaper

    5) I would look at a better brand/manufacturer for a case

Size is what kills that case. Other than the 560 series cards, most of these newer cards are as long as a boat, not to mention you want to be able to fit a cpu h/s, fans, etc...

For a great budget case with size this CM down below is tough to beat. Cooler Master has lots of LED fans you can add to it later on...like a side 200mm LED fan...Amazon has them in red and blue for around $13 + free shipping...newegg is a few dollars more.

Here's another case worth looking at. It's a bargain for $70 and free shipping.

Everything looks solid in that build. I didn't see a dvd writer/optical drive but you can pick a decent one up on newegg for around $20 - $25. Just make sure it's a SATA and not an EIDE hook up.
  5. @Why_me
Would this work or is it the wrong kind?

That burner will do just fine. :) If you can fit that 200mm fan in your budget then go for it.

http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Computer-Cooling-R4-LUS-07AR-GP/dp/B002LE8BJA/ref=pd_vtp_e_1 <---- there it is on amazon, and newegg has it also.
  7. Ive got the parts and am ready to order, thank you so much for your help i would have been in a mess if it wasn't for your help :bounce:
