Need advice on Gtx 260 vs hd 6770

Hi

I know this cards probably suck now, not a couple of years back, but I do not have the budget right know and I want to know which one migth run smoothly with a phenom ii x4 Starcraft 2 and dead island.

I'll have to upgrade my mobo later one so I was thinking on a Asus sabertooth 990 fx or a Gigabyte 990fxa ud3 or ud5 because the mobos this gpus come with suck really hard.

gtx 260: ECS BLACK SERIES A790-GXM
8gb 1333 mhz patriot viper ii

hd 6770: ASRock N68-VS3 UCC
4gb a-data 1333mhz

And so on, I wanted to get an hd 6870 after getting money again.


So what you think guys any advice on one of this rigs? Any extra ideas?

Get A and upgrade the GPU. That is probably best.

But I am still not really sure if it is scam or not. I think they suppose to cost more than $700. If you want to take risk then take A and upgrade the GPU.

GTX 260 is almost close to the performance as HD 6770, the only benefit from HD 6770 would be the power consumption and DX11 support.
So if you'll buy any of these 2 pick the HD 6770, HD 6870 is 100% boost of perfromane over the GTX 260.

I think I'm lucky he got 2 of them, but I think I'll go with the hd 6770 or If I can wait I'll change it for a hd 6870

Ohhh wait, the sellers kinda changed their mind when I told them there was another guy trying to sell me.

a) Gtx 260
4gb RAM

Is algo gicing me now a 24" HP monitor with DVI x2 and a 750w silencer PSU, he also changed the case for a coolmaster Elite 430

An Antec cae with a temperature screen
It's only giving a new game, sc2, crysis 2, metro 2033
And an extra 120 mm cooler master red LED fan


a) its a liittle bit cheaper than b) do you think it's kinda of a scam?

neither a) nor b) are ebay top rated sallers, but they do not have any negative feedback

So what you think on this one? I'm still kinda eccentric with a) less price and a HD tv included?

If change intro USD currencie, it's about $538

b) its around 584

Pretty expensive but that's the price you get when you add importation taxes plus shipping

Hp monitor its about 200, and thats a lot and the PSU its a 750 w power supply silencer its the brand, never heard of it

Yes I know, the thing its stopping me is I think thats a lot of things for the same price.

A has way too more things than B and that is starting too make me think if this might be a scam or not.

Although I like A better B's video card is so cool!
