Hey guys, I have been looking to buy a new gaming keyboard since I just have a crappy Logitech one right now, I have narrowed down my choices to two keyboard (but I am open to other recommendations), here are links to the keyboards.

Saitek Eclipse III

Razer Blackwidow

I know that mechanical keyboards are a lot better than normal keyboards but the Eclipse comes with some other nice features like back lighting and media controls, Which keyboard do you guys think I should get????
Thanks!
If it helps I will be mostly playing first person shooters so the macros don't really matter to me.

Personally if you want a high quality keyboard I would recommend the Corsair K60/K90 (depending on money) Seeing as it's FPS the K60 would be a great option, I use it and don't regret, it has laser etched keys and has the media controls. The red FPS buttons really do make a difference and are great if you play while multi-tasking. It's reasonably priced and I LOVE it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

If those are the only two options, I would get the Razer keyboard...I personally use the Blackwidow Ultimate and I've had no issues so far. Mechanical keys are great :)

Though the Rosewill Mechanical Keyboards are pretty nice as well, my brother uses the Cherry MX Black ones.

Though as LogiCal stated, the Corsair K series Keyboards are great! My friend has one and I love the switches on those more than Blacks/Blues.

From those, 2, the Razer would be superior for gaming, although it's really an unfair comparison. The Eclipse 3 is all cool and backlightish, but it's made for multimedia consumption, so it has no macros that come with most gaming keyboards.

A few other keyboards closely priced you can consider is the Logitech G510, G19, Thermaltake eSports Challenger Ultimate.

Personally, G19>G510>Tt, but the G19's a tad more expensive.
