Hey Guys,

Just built my PC a few days ago and It is a bit loud with all the fans on 100% so I want to turn them down.

My graphics card is fine but I do not know whether to turn down my case and heatsink fans, first I need to see the actual temperature that my CPU is running before I chose whether or not to turn them down

I downloaded HWMonitor and this is what I get idle:

Is my CPU really running at 3c? or is it 3*4 making 12c? Do you think I should lower my fans to make my pc quieter?

What does your bios say the temps are?
it really is not 3'c, I suspect your sensors may be faulty or for some reason giving an inaccurate reading,
check the bios report and maybe coretemp (free download) to see what they say,
I do trust Hwm as its one of the tools I use myself, so the sensor may be the problem
**Edit, also what are your ambient temps, room temp?
I know its not unusually high or low, just for a reference point is all
Moto

Ok thanks, is that temperature safe idle? Im a noob at this kinda stuff lol!

Also, if I enabled CPU quiet fan, would the fan speed eventually get to 100% if my CPU started getting hot?

Thanks for all the help :)
