Intel D975XBG mobo beeps 3 times

Hello,
I removed the battery-no help, I unpluged all cables and cards-no help. I left it set about 30hrs and then checked-no help. At start up the fans run, 3 long beeps and thats it. Fans keep running

How long did you leave the battery out? If it was for under 30 min, do it again for 30 min.

How old is this computer?

Did you recently change anything in it?

Did it ever work?

What happened before it stopped working?

Hi, that's a beep code. The MB is trying to tell you something.

3 beeps? That's bad memory.

" Reseat the memory.
Make sure that the contacts on the memory and the socket are clean.
Try removing one bank of memory modules at a time. (Some systems can require a memory module in Bank 0.)
Try using memory modules from the same manufacturer with the same part number and speed.
Check for a faulty memory module by trying the memory in a known good system."

good news. If it turns out to me memory, memory is currently really cheap.
