Help with my build

So i have a fairly descent build but i have been having troubles with my gpu which is a Radeon HD 6970 and wanting to upgrade to crossfire 6950 or 7970.

specs:
graphics card: Radeon HD 6970
cpu:AMD phenom ii x6 1000t 3.31 gHz
ram: 8 Gigs DDDR3
monitor: 1920x1080 60 herts refresh rate
psu:corsair AX750 (i know i will need to upgrade)

so is it worth it and which one?

An upgrade to 7950 or 7970 is great. An 7950 with a little overclock beat an Nvidia 580. In my opinion 6970 is a good card.
