Why is my Computer slow?

Every since i used smart defrag 2 by iobit my computer has been really slow, can anyone explain this?

Specs:
Core 2 Quad Q6400
P5G41-M LE
Radeon 4870 512 mb
400 GB Hitachi

Try a virus scan using the free version of Malwarebytes anti-virus software.

Try uninstall the program, or change the schedule for defrag. I suspect the program change your defrag schedule to always run.

Do you notice a lot of hd activity?

I use defrag 2 but you have to uncheck the automatic defrag feature, it'll really make your computer slow.

If not, then if Win 7 then launch task manager, goto performance tab, launch resource monitor. When the system is slow see what CPU consumption -- if >70% then google the names of each of the processes that is using a lot of CPU. Check disk activity -- if disk active high Google who is using disk. See if paging high. Poke around in resource monitor and post anything that looks funny.

1st: I scanned with Malwarebytes and Avast and there is no virus
2nd:After the scan i decided to uninstall smart defrag
3rd: Automatic defrag was off
4th: no it wasn't smart defragmenter.

After uninstalling it, i did see a slight change in performance.
