Remove both driver AMD and Intel. Then boot into safe mode and run Driver Sweeper and clean the remaining AMD and Intel graphic driver. Then, boot into Windows, and install the latest Catalyst 11.1 driver.

uninstall CCC amd through control panel program uninstaller
restart
before installing the amd driver
make sure to install the Microsoft WDM driver for the card through
microsoft update
then restart the computer and install the AMD driver

You can download Steam and use Steam to keep the drivers up to date - here: http://store.steampowered.com/about/
If you're having problems beyond that then I'd suggest uninstalling Catalyst drivers through (1) "add/remove" programs in Win. 7 (2)driver sweeper to get the remnants - here: http://phyxion.net/Driver-Sweeper/Driver-Sweeper/Versio... (3) Temporarily disable anti-virus software and re-download CCC 11.11 and install... once installed you should be prompted to reboot - if not somethings wrong... once you reboot right click your desktop and CCC should be listed at the top...

good advice
I would just add in my experience dont install CCC with the generic VGA driver that first loads up
use Windows Update to get the MS WDM driver for card
reboot it
and then install the CCC driver
