to me, you're spending way too much on a full tower case when you could put that extra money ($60) on a better processor or video card. check out the nzxt case, it's white and $50 bucks and looks pretty cool.

also, do you really need a blu-ray player? i find i hardly use my dvd burner, and one could be had for $18. but, if you need it you need it.

check out this combo for an i3-2120. better at gaming than all of AMDs offerings, hyperthreading, and a high clock of 3.3ghz. also saves you some good dough with a good dvd burner:

definitely get the 6770 over the 6750, it's basically the same price and it's better.

if you're willing to spend more money and work your budget around, then i'd go for a 6870:

xfx - so lifetime warranty which is rad.

in terms of gaming, it's hard to recommend an AMD CPU. Check out this article on tomshardware:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-fx-pentium-apu-benchmark,3120.html

"With the sub-$100 Pentiums performing so well, Intel's $125 Core i3-2100 easily beats more expensive Phenom II and FX models. And the $190 Core i5-2400 dominates the sub-$200 landscape without challenge, really. As such, we're almost-shockingly left without an AMD CPU to recommend at any price point."

the core i3 (a $120 processor) outperforms the entire amd lineup. if you're going to be doing heavy multitasking or video rendering or something like that, then one of the higher core amds might be considered. but for this budget, you can't buy a better processor than the i3-2120.

i like that build a lot for 655. good solid video card in the 6870, fast, cheap i3-2120.

you might want a little faster ram, (ddr3 1600). if mail in rebates aren't an issue this is a good price for corsair:

aside from that i think you have a solid build. might want a little more juice out of your powersupply...
this one's more efficient at pretty much the same price.

which motherboard are you getting? the one first listed?

Alright, I replaced the motherboard with the MSI and I replced the power supply with the one you recommended. It is only about $600 after mail in rebates. Thanks for all the help.
