5670 vs 6670 toms hardware

Hello,
considering the cost differnce of around 1500 rs is it advisable to buy 5670 over 6670...
i have core i3 530 2.93ghz
n how to check the psu n other stuff

To check PSU, open the left side of your case, it usually mount in either top or bottom, depend on your case. Read the info on the sticker on the side of the PSU.

thanx for ur help...but its written only i ball sps223-400
does that mean it wud support ati hd 6670 n have 400 watts

u can please tell me any other option if any, in this price range other than n better than 5670 n 6670,

yeah done that...is it so simple...just multiply that...but it comes around 77 watts...so would i be able to play with ati hd 6670

if possible go for 6750 .. or 6670 is fine ... For safer side ... Hve atleast 500 watts of PSU ... Bcoz PSU of Indian market is not upto the mark .. If u have a very good PSU , thn 400 watts is fine ..

me too live in india, these cheap psu's are nothing more than crap, i only use corsair, seasonic, antec, ocz, enermax and have a very nice experience with them.

my psu is of i ball...so i guess its good..but still thanx for ur advice...i wud buy a 600 w psu now

You can find how many rail the PSU but looking the 12V. If it has 2 rails, it will show 12V1 & 12V2. If it has 1 rail only, it will just show 12V.

dude. its 17 A written corresponding to 12 V ...what does that mean...what s the max power supply of my smps...would i be able to play with hd 6670 or not can u please tell

You can find how many rail the PSU but looking the 12V. If it has 2 rails, it will show 12V1 & 12V2. If it has 1 rail only, it will just show 12V.
