Word doc defaulting to Photoshop

My doc\'s default to a Photoshop file, how do I stop this and have them open automatically in a word doc?

Right click your file, select "Open with" and select "Choose default program" - now find Word and make sure "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" is check marked. If you don't see word in the list, click on "Browse", now find the spot where your word was installed, usually under C:\program files.

Chainzsaw must be suffering from too much or not enough coffee.

You want to select Word as the default program for .doc files. However, I would be concerned how a doc file got associated with Photoshop. Better check for viruses.

Arghh too much coffee!!! Change photoshop to Word and presto you should be fine.
