I have an HP PAvilion dv4-2045dx
on the front it has a microphone jack and two headphone jacks. I have one routed to my iHome (as a speaker) the other headphone jack is occupied by my apple head phones. I want to listen to music on the speaker. and i want to hear voice chat (in games/ specific applications) is it possible. I've heard of stream routing. but dont know how to do it. Help? Thanks.

I don't think that's possible with just software. I think you would need two different sound devices (one for each jack) for that to work. Something like onboard sound and an additional sound card on a desktop. I'm not positive even THAT would work, but it would make sense that it would.

Although, if anyone knows any different, feel free to correct me and explain.

On a side note, you seem to think outside the box a lot, lol.
