Help needed!
Is it possible to buy a remote to use for PC DVD players? I bought a Creative dxr3 board encore, but it didn't come with a remote. Is it possible to install a separate infrared adapter with a remote and make it work with other programs too, like winamp?

Creative (how can a company be so good yet so bad?) makes a product called Live Drive I/R which operates with their Live series of cards (most of them). This has a pretty nice remote that can be configured for other applications. Beware, the software is by no means user friendly, took about an hour to fully set it up to contol my DVD player but once you set it up, it is pretty darn cool.
