the nvidia card is too old... I wouldn't even check the performance comparison... I'd go for the amd card

what do you need it for? games or HD videos?
your purpose will define how valuable each card is for your situation.

If you want it for HD video playback, I say get the cheaper one.

one more thing, make sure your motherboard has PCI express slot for the cards.
 

the 260 is significantly faster. the 260 is on par with the amd 6750. I would get the 260 given the choice of the two without a second thought. The only thing that may stop the op is his PSU. You want a good quality 500w psu to run a gtx260.
 
For gaming, the GTX 260. For HD video, the HD6450.

There are 2 or 3 GTX260 models, essentially the same, but some are made on the older 65nm process and are over 3 years old.

The HD6450 has UVD3 (Universal Video Decoder) which is the latest version of AMD 'hardware acceleration' for BluRay, Mpeg, DivX, Xvid, etc., video; which substantially removes the video processing demand from your CPU.
