Hi,
I have Packard Bell ixtreme M5722:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz
RAM 6.00 GB
Motherboard Acer G43T-AM V2.0
Power Supply Delta Electronics DPS-250AB-22 D 250W ATX
Graphic Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 220
Monitor: Packard Bell Viseo 230Ws Native Mode: 1920 x 1080(p) (60.000Hz) DVI
Windows7 64-bit

I want to upgrade graphic card and i think that in order to do so I need to buy new power supply. My knowledge on the subject ends there.
What PSU and Graphic Card I should buy to match my mother board and squeezed maximum performance for 200-300 Euro? Mind that I live in Ireland.

Go for a 500-600W Corsair, Antec, Seasonic or XFX powersupply.

For a gpu maybe a GTX460/560 or a HD6850/6870. Good brands ; EVGA, Sapphire, ASUS, MSI, XFX, PNY.

Do you want links ? Which sites do you prefer ?

I think btw you have a 2.0 pci-e slot on the mobo, not sure though, still looking for that.

No, i mean if you have a mobo pci-e slot version 1.0, 1.1 or 2.0, because sometimes the 2.1 AMD cards have compatibilty issues with a 1.0 slot.

Your spec seems good except that graphics card. For upgrading to a new Graphics card i recommends you may wait for 1 or 2 months for the new 28nm Radeon HD 7000 series. If you want to upgrade immediately then you may consider a Radeon HD 6950 or 6870 according to your budget with a new Corsair GS600W PSU will rock you :sol:
