Recently installed geforce 560ti and 750w power supply issues

I have recently installed a Geforce 560 ti and a Corsair 750w power supply on my hp desktop. Ever since, when i run games like battlefield 3 and skyrim, my gpu temp sky rockets and if i do not close the games immediately the computer will shut off. Any suggestions on how to fix my overheating problem?

Have you checked that all fans are spinning freely?

Run MSI Afterburner while playing games and tell us the temps while gaming.

That's not good. Either try to fix it or RMA it.

there was a cord blocking the gpu fan from spinning. thank you for the tip.
