HSF (Overclocking is a definite must;) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065

Total Price : $511.95

I like the motherboard because it allows for x16/x8 Sli at a decent price. It's not a z68 but I don't think I need ssd caching or iGPU. When I get an SSD it will be large enough for most of my used apps and games. I also might get another $100 to add into this so if you guys can find improvements to throw in at that price range it would be much appreciated :)

Where is your HD, Powersupply and video card? Do you not need them or did you forget them?

The extreme3 is not 16/16, every mobo will go to 8/8 in sli unless it has nf200 chip. And unless he has 3 monitors or a huge res, and top end gpus, it won't make a difference. But it will probably be better at oc as it has better vrm and is overall better quality and more features.

If you get more money in the budget you want to put that into a better gpu.
