Best fiber optic cable brand

Can you list down the best fiber optic cable manufacturers? On my list is Leviton and Fiber Tech. Is there a brand named American Fiber? Clipsal seems nice but how about Axess and LightNet?

The "brand names" you buy do not manufacture the fiber, they just resell it retail, more fiber optic cable than will ever be needed has already been made long ago most of the world is just waiting on the active devices to come down in price.

PBS had a great video on this long ago I doubt the pages are working anymore but I will ink what I had.

Awesome video for the history of fiber optics how they came to be, the problems the original college freshmen encountered and what he discovered, etc.. Unfortunately its real player, any alternative real player should work though.

You create a ID to post garbage. Another china based company that well could be a scam. The answer from years ago is still correct. This company does not MANUFACTURE fiber they just resell it. Spamming posts to a forum to advertise a company is just a good way to identify a company that you likely should not even think to do business with.

Are you asking about trunk fiber or patch cables? I figure Corning is ALWAYS a safe bet for trunk fiber. I believe the patch cables we use are all made from Optical Cable Corp fiber.
