The GTX 460 is definitely the better choice. One of the members here, I believe his name is DM186, has 2 of them in SLI, and he states that they are definitely not worth the price.

My buddie has one, and he can barely keep up with some of the games we play, given he is running a dual core, but still. It does not have the raw power of the GTX460.

If you were to get the GTX460 though, I highly recommend getting the 1GB version, even though they are very hard to find at a low price. It is definitely worth it.

This chart will describe where the graphics cards sit in levels in terms of their performance.

1. GTX 460 its better
2. The 768 MB version of the 460 its not produced anymore
3. The 460 OCs like hell (i have the basic version of GTX 460 from asus, 675 MHz/core and i have OCd to 800 MHz, it could go higher with more voltage tweeking)
4. You should consider a GTX 560ti, squeez your budget a bit and go for that ^^

Very smart. That is true.

If you don't want radeon then 460.
