Hello i am a new user seeking some advice on a new graphics card preferably nvidia, but open to anything

i have a 22 inch hp monitor at 1600x900 resolution roughly 720p/1080i i believe

my computer specs are in the link below

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c02481324&lang=en&cc=us&taskId=101&contentType=SupportFAQ&prodSeriesId=4269976&prodTypeId=12454

if link doesnt work its

amd 635 x4 propus 2.9
4 gigs ddr3 1333
alvorix rs-880 mobo
250 watt psu

this link will show all exact specifications of my particular pc. from what i understand i know ill have to upgrade my psu and possibly my ram a bit.

with a budget of about 250$ my initial thought is to buy a 500 watt psu, 4 gigs of ram possibly g skill, and a gtx 460 graphics card.

my expectations are to run Skyrim, Star Wars The Old republic, Diablo 3, on maxed out settings

i believe that with my native resolution limited to roughly 720p i can achieve this with the budget ive set for myself, but im really new to this and open to any and all suggestions

p.s. its a tight fit in my tower so any graphics cards you suggest need to be under 10 inches for sure
lol thats what she said : ) sry.....

i understand your point on the cpu, but ive had a 550 ti in there and it was running crysis 2 maxed just fine untill it shut off because of the 250 watt psu. I also intend on upgrading the psu.

cool, ill consider that. yeah atm my power supply would be the only thing really bottlenecking me at this point. but im not speaking from experience so im not way too sure. anyone have an opinion?

thank you, one more question then. do you think i could save a little money by not worrying about my ram then? i have 4 gigs at 1333. is that enough? the most i would be running at the same time is ventrilo and whatever pc game im playing at the time

like i said im on a strict 250 dollar budget and wanna try to factor in ram, psu, and a graphics card for maxed settings at 720p
