How much power do I need?

Forum Systems : New Build How much power do I need?

Hello!

Please, could you advice me about how much power do I need for the following new build?

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500
MoBo: Asus P8Z68-V
GPU: XFX ATI Radeon HD6870
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8gb (2 X 4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHZ
Case: Carbide Series 400R
HDD: Western Digital 500 GB SATA 3 or SATA 2.
Maybe some Creative Audio Card.

I like the "Thermaltake Toughpower XT 775W (TPX-775M)", but I'm not entirely sure if that's too much.

I'm going to buy all parts in "MercadoLibre - Venezuela" (It is eBay's Latin American partner).

Thanks in advance!

A QUALITY 500w psu with at least a basic 80+ efficiency rating would be sufficient.

I recommend Antec, Corsair, XFX, Seasonic.

If I were you I would go for 600W. Especially since SeaSonic has an excellent deal on a 620W PSU.

Oh, I see you are not going to buy from USA. Unfortunately I cannot suggest a PSU but the wattage I can. 600W is what I would buy.
