Specs :
Motherboard - Asus P5L-VM 1394 775 Socket
CPU - Pentium D 950 (Going to upgrade as soon as I get a response to my CPU thread ; E6700 or E6750)
Current GPU - NVidia GeForce 8600GT 512MB DDR2
Ram - 4 X 1GB DDR2
PSU - CoolerMaster GX 450W (540 peak) 80% Effeciency
OS - Windows XP 32bit
I'd prefer to go with an ATI (Never had any problems with 'em. NVidia, on the otherhand..), but will take an NVidia if it will last a few years and handle me stuff.
I use Autodesk Maya for 3D modelling, so a card that can do alright with that peice o' software would be great, I also want to get as high-and-smooth FPS possible for games like Skyrim. Was tempted to get an Ati 5670 or the 6850, but I have come to get a verdict first.
(Also, if it outputs to DVI, that'd be nice. It's not needed, but I'd rather not buy adapters for my monitors unless the card performs superb-ly)
Much obliged.
