Looking for the best psu for 50 bucks

So I'm looking to build a budget gaming pc. Can someone suggest the best power supply within a 50 dollar price range??

dont cheap out on the power supply because if it takes a dump on you it will shock your internals taking the entire build with it

As Alvine mentioned...you could ruin hundreds/thousands of dollars of computer equipment with a cheap PSU.

Cheap doesn't always equate to bad though. You can get some decent PSUs from respectable manufacturers for $50. Depending on your power needs. I've been checking the old Corsair CX line prices for a bit waiting for my broke butt to have some money. Good reviews, and rated (on one of the links floating around here) as a tier 3 PSU classifying it as "solid".

Antec and Seasonic have similar price range PSUs, and seem to be fairly generally respected companies for PSUs. Around here at least.
