Guys, i have i5-2500k, gigabyte z77p-d3 mobo and hd 7850... now i read somewhere that the z77 chipset allows you to use both the intel hd graphics and ur discrete gpu for graphic acceleration depending upon the application and conditions. So i want to know whether ineed some additional drivers for doing so or not?

More about : intel graphics 2500k

You need to install VirtuMVP (and the HD Graphics drivers, first, actually). To do that, you need to make sure that the iGPU is enabled along with the 7850 (requires enabling iGPU Multi-Monitor on my Asus board, but I'm not sure what it would be for you).

Actually, plain old Virtu can handle this too. The technology first cropped up in Z68 boards. Z77 just added a bunch of cool stuff related to better Vsync.

Yeah, of course, but I just figure that since it's a Z77 board, why not use VirtuMVP?
