I am possibly wanting to upgrade my rig with some new things.

My current build consists of:

Case: Thermaltake Armor LCS Case (Heavy as a mo fo lol)

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955 3.2GHz C2 (Bleh ^_^)

MOBO: Biostar TA890FXE

GPU: MSI Nvidia GTX 560 Ti TF II Gold Edition (Love it)

RAM: 4x1GB OCZ DDR3 1333MHz 9-9-9-20 2T 1.7v

HDD: 320GB Western Digital Caviar Blue HDD SATA

PSU: Corsair 850W PSU

NIC: Killer 2100 NIC

CPU Cooler: XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU

Monitor: ASUS VE248H 1920x1080 LED LCD 60Hz

I want to spend about $1000 on a new rig, or just update parts that need upgrading.. I am going to college soon for Game Art, so I need a gaming rig that can render really good in programs like Cinema 4D, Blender, and 3DS Max. I live in Ohio, USA so please find the part on either Newegg or Tiger Direct.

Thanks TH!

Hey. I really like some of the parts you have.
If you were to ditch any parts I would probably ditch the Mobo, Get a nice crosshair v with sli. And maybe get another gtx 560 for sli filled fun. The ram can also do a nice boost. I think you would be a able to o.c. your CPU nicely but If you want to really go extreme I guess you can try your luck with a FX. But personnaly I would wait for a better bulldozer to come out. I think that would boost your performance pretty nicely ;P Might want a new HDD or SSD but that can come in time
Good luck!

I have an FX board but the reason I can't OC mad on my CPU is because it's a C2 stepping and the OC wall is 3.8GHz. I am planning on getting another Gold Edition TFII GTX 560 Ti. I love the Gold Editions cause they are all copper unlike the regular TFIIs
