Alright so this is my first build, looking for some suggestions on anything you guys have to offer

1. I checked it all but wanna make sure on a few things
2. Is everything here compatible?
3. Is 500w PSU enough to power this?
4. Anything you would swap for a better component at an equal price +- $10?
5. See any of these pieces at a lower price anywhere else? please share!
6. I Plan to overclock this machine as well, any ideas what i could get this up to with the I5 2500K CPU at 3.30Ghz?
7. Concerning 6, ive heard if you want to overclock the stock fan on the CPU isnt up to par, any suggestions on a CPU cooler fan to replace?
8. I wanna get a nice monitor for this also, any suggestions where i could get a nice price for a 20"-27"? budget is 150 max for it.

Budget = 800

So here it is:

CPU (179.99) - i5 2500k Sandy Bridge

Motherboard (11.99) - MSI p67A-G43 (B3) LGA 1155 ATX

Memory (35.99) - G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3

OS (79.99) - Windows 7 64bit

HDD (74.99) - Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500gb

SSD (74.99) - OCZ Vertex 60gb

Video Card (189.99) - EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 1GB

Case (44.99) - Cooler Master HAF 912

PSU (39.99) - CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 V2 500W

Total Cost : 733.00 + tax/shipping

That particular psu is manufactured by CWT and is not one to be recommended. I would look to spend another $20 on your psu so you don't chance frying your system.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... <----- try this if it's in your budget.

For a cheap yet effective cpu cooler, look at the Cooler Master 212+ for around $25. amazon or newegg

yeah i saw a few bad reviews on that PSU so i was a little bit skeptical but decided to go with it just cause it was 20 bucks cheaper than the rest of them, the bad:good review ratio was still low for the money spent, but it would be better to get a better PSU just to be on the safer side.
So im going to replace my current PSU with this one.

$12 for a motherboard?

I'm not the biggest fan of MSI - I had one of their boards (870A-G45 and it died on me after 3 days. I'd heavily suggest considering something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

its funny cause i was just looking around for a new Motherboard, and it was from Microcenter, but its not online and they dont Have any in stock at my store, 71.99-$10 rebate and $50 a mobo when you get a CPU

thats why it was so cheap, but i actually had taken a look at the one you have there before, and does this one have a PCI Express 2.0 in it?

Yes - it supports up to PCI-E x 2.1 x 16 and has two slots for x16 video cards.

Also I would not bother with SSD. put this money towards better graphic card
perhaps 560Ti they go for ~$210

That's a good monitor - the one I'm using right now is a 24" Acer (discontinued model) but it's held up quite nicely over the last couple of years.

The card the OP listed is a 560, it's not a TI but it will get the job done.
