Having trouble with my modem not working

Ok so for the past two days my modem Motorola Sb5101, which says linksys under connection, for some reason seems to stop working around 8:40 PM and then is suddenly fine during the day. I contacted Charter and they said someone would have to come out and fix it, I don't know if this will happen again tonight, and sadly I don't know alot about modems and connections. If anybody could help me as to why this is wrong that would be great. Also, the four buttons flash, the power is constant but between receive, send, and online, one will flash then the other and sometime s it is just send, I don't know what to do

As geek stated call your ISP, someone is going to have to come out and inspect everything like your modem, your line going to your house, splitters if you have any and check the signal strength at your location.

Since it happens at the same time, I agree with geek as well. Call your ISP, and have a tech come out.

So my ISP would be Charter because they do my internet would that be right? Sorry for the stupid question
