Is this a good PSU or do I need to return it?

Is this a reliable PSU - like the fact that it's modular and the name brand isn't half bad to me. I'm a kind of sucker for good deals - though I will only stick with the more common named brands. I think Thermaltake is relatively reliable because they make some slick cases and decent cpu coolers. Help me as I need to decide whether I should return this PSU for a 800w corsair or a 750w antec. Thank you!

Read that review. Hardwaresecrets is one of the best PSU reviewers out there and this review said "Avoid at all costs"

Also 20% of the reviews on newegg are bad

oh, thanks for the best answer. I normally check with Hardwaresecrets and Jonnyguru before buying any PSU, So far so good. :0)

^ Very good advice. The Thermaltake TR2 is garbage.

Stick with Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, XFX, Silverstone, Enermax, OCZ and Antec and you should have no problems.
