(RMA;Solved) How to know if your gfx card is faulty

So I got my new ati 6950 but when I plug it into the motherboard and then plug it into my 700w power supply all I get is a blank screen. I have turned off the integrated gfx and triple checked the cables. I can get a screen to even show with this gfx card, but if I plug in my old 5750 it works fine so is it a bad card or something ?

Edit: I can't even get a screen to show I'm sending it with my phone .

+1 RMA,

unless it's not compatible with your mobo for some reason.

I would test it out in other computer just to be sure.

Therefore you can apply RMa and tell them that

Are you sure you connected BOTH cables from PSU to your GPU?

I have connected the cables that came with the card and I'm pretty sure it powers on because I hear the JET engiine sound of the card cause its really loud but its actually just not showing...so is RMA my only option, and if i did RMA it would it be back by SW:TOR release?

Yeah the fan running full blast (without stopping) doesnt sound good. Artifacts on the screens is an obvious sign as well. +1 to RMA

RMA is the best option.

Yeah your fans should only spin up to full for a second while booting if they are going to do so at all, Send it back!!

Ok RMA it is. I'll update the thread when i get the new one back and see what happens then.
