Phenom 965 (3.4gh) cpu on an ECS A785gm

Can I put a phenom 965 (3.4 gh) on an ECS A785 motherboard?

  1. If by Phenom you mean "Phenom II" then yes.

    Edit: After looking around, there might be a problem. The motherboard only supports processors with a 95W TDP. The 965 has a 125W TDP. Might still work, but you would have to ask somebody else. I'm not entirely sure.
  2. the ECS A785 motherboard is based on the AMD 785G Chipset with 140Watt Phenom II Support, I believe the Phenom 965 is a 125 watt part so yes this should work just fine
