I am having problems with my network stopping receiving packets.
I have a ComTrend ADSL2+ CT-5621T Modem and a Linksys WRT300N Wireless-N Router.
It doesn't happen on a schedule, it happens often though. I know it is not on the computer as a problem, as my XBOX 360 Live connection drops too.
When this happens, the ADSL light flickers for about 30 seconds on the modem. It stop receiving packets, and on Google Chrome when I am navigating while it is dropping, it says Operation Timed Out.
The router log shows this:
Sat, 26 Feb 2011 16:06:11 received DISCOVER from 00:22:48:64:B4:75
Sat, 26 Feb 2011 16:06:12 sending OFFER to 255.255.255.255 with 192.168.1.102
Sat, 26 Feb 2011 16:06:12 received REQUEST from 00:22:48:64:B4:75
Sat, 26 Feb 2011 16:06:12 sending ACK to 255.255.255.255
Please help! Please do not tell me to contact ISP too.
