Server Build Recommendations Needed

Although I have build a lot of desktops, I now find myself needing to build a server. It will be part of a domain with ten users running Windows Server 2008R2.
Mainly used for file and print sharing with a couple of applications added. I was going to use 4G Ram and two drives for a RAID 1
Here is what I have come up with so far:

Main Board: SUPERMICRO MBD-X9SCM-F-O LGA 1155 Intel C204 Micro ATX Intel Xeon E3 Server Motherboard

Processor: Intel Xeon E3-1230

Memory: Kingston ValueRAM 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM ECC

Drives: Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM

Case: SUPERMICRO CSE-733TQ-500B Black Pedestal Server Case

Any glaring errors here? We usually buy Dell servers but for this application I would like to build a server.

  1. 500GB HD for a server? On a central file server you want the most HD space you can get. You also want a viable backup option which I don't see. I'll include an LG BD-R Burner for backups. I also included a fast SSD for boot times.

I don't know if you have a space for a rackmount or what your budget is but try something like this:

    Case: NORCO RPC-470 Black 4U Rackmount Server Case - OEM - $89.99
PSU: PC Power and Cooling Silencer 760W High Performance 80PLUS Silver SLI CrossFire ready Power Supply - $129.99
    Motherboard: Asus P8B WS - $219.99
    CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1245 - $279.99
    RAM: Kingston 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) - $69.99
    SSD: Samsung 830 64GB - $109.99
    HD: Seagate Barracuda XT 2TB - $239.99
    Optical (backup) : LG BD-R Burner - $79.99
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 6570 - $69.99

    Total: $1,432.92

I included the SSD for a fast boot / loading drive, and I included a cheap, inexpensive video card so you can access your system directly without remote administration.
