I am new to PC's and just want to make sure that all of my final selected parts are compatible. I know all the parts are from circuit city but I plan on ordering them over Newegg. I plan on using this first build to fully commit to PC over console gaming.

Pretty decent choices all around, but Xion is a horrible case manufacturer. They're as bad if not worse than Apevia and Raidmax. Go with something like a Cooler Master HAF 912, which will actually save you $20. Use that $20 and instead upgrade to the Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3H. That board has way more expansion options for the price.

Try this:

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128498R

And then I'm not sure I recommend that monitor. That's another one that my work buys frequently because they're cheap but these monitors don't last very long. Go with an Acer or a Hanns G instead. Try something like this:
