Upgrading my HD 4800

Hi

I've been looking into upgrading my graphics card because its the piece in my PC that is letting it down but i dont know what to upgrade it to. I dont want to spend stupid amounts of money though. was wondering if I would be better off buying another card and crossfiring them or just buying one better card?? any help is much appreciated

Cheers

Dan

More about upgrading 4800
  1. Replace it with... HD 6870? Or GTX 560?
  2. what's the rest of your hardware and what software do you run ? games/opsys, etc. monitor/resolution would also be helpful
  3. processor: AMD phenom II x4 955 3.2ghz
    Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4800
    monitor running at 1680x1050

I mainly play Games on it. most of the time I play games like rift but im going to start getting back into games like crysis and get myself skyrim.

Dont really wanna spend more than about £100, max would be about £150 i reckon

not sure what other info to put up.

    Your welcome for your thanks!

I think at that resolution 1680x1050, that card won't work that good. You said you can pay 150 pounds so I recommend you to get yourself a 6870 or 560.

I notice Some brands are very expensive in UK. Even a MSI 6870 reach 200 pounds! How insane is that?

    Here Is a Suggestion:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0047ZH7GE/?tag=pcp0f-21 for 135 pounds
