Yes they are, but I would spend the extra few dollars to get a Caviar Black Harddrive. The speed difference is significant.

They're both 7200 RPM drives - I've used both and I don't really notice a significant difference between the two.

That build looks really good - what case are you planning to get to go with that or do you already have one?

The Caviar Black has two headers. Blue only has one. From my experience, Black is better when you multitask and open a bunch of programs/windows at once.

I like Corsair cases but that does look a bit cramped. You could pay the extra $10 and get the Carbide 400R.

With the shortages now the Caviar Black is almost twice as much as competing drives from Samsung and Seagate. That wouldn't be a good decision either.
