Hello,

This is my first gaming computer build. I haven't purchased anything yet. I would like some critiques and hear some opinions before I do. I play battlefield on 360, but now I want to max it out and continue my gaming to PC.

Intel Core i5-2500K
ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3
XFX HD-697A-CNFC Radeon HD 6970 2GB 256-bit
COOLMAX CL-700B 700W ATX 12V v2.2
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"
Rosewill DESTROYER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

If anyone is aware of compatiblity issues I'm missing that would be great to know. Thanks for the help

Coolmax is blow up your nice new computer bad. If you are not ordering from newegg then Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, XFX, Enermax, Silverstone as well as Antec all make good power supplies. With a HD 6970 look for a 550-600w unit and you will be fine.

The WD Blue series is considered a storage grade hard drive. If you can afford a WD Black, Seagate 7200.12 or Samsung Spinpoint F3 that would give you a small boost in hard drive performance.
