Dual core overheating

my cpu is making a sound when turned on, makes so much noise after a while and turns off.

Yes I meant my processor

Buchi, get a can of duster, unplug the machine, open up your case and blow all the dust out of the heatsinks. Then turn on the computer with the side panel still open and make sure the fans are spinning. Then close it up and download a program like CoreTemp or CPUID Hardware Monitor and report what those temps are.

Usually overheating is just people forgetting to blow the dust out.
