Hey all... currently i have 2 servers. one with 2x Pentium III 450MHz, 4 SCSI HDs...etc... running off a 280W PSU (i think, but we'll round this up to 300W). ur typical server.
The other, runs as an app server, running off a 350W PSU.

problem is, i need to get a UPS for both servers. and it seems to be cheaper to get 2 UPS's instead of one. So, does anyone know what i should get? Also, what kinda VA range should i be looking at? i just need the servers to safely power down when there's a power shortage.

Thanks all!!

I would get anything that says APC on it. All of their products are good, so the more money you spend - the better battery/functionality you get. I've got an ~$80 model (Back-UPS ES 500) for 1 computer. It comes with a 1394 connection and software to save all documents before shutting down in a power outtage. They have more powerful solutions, for more money of course. Good luck!
