i installed avast antivirus
it ran a boot scan
it put system volume_restore in virus chest
for whatever reason it did not give me the remove from chest option
i was instructed by avast to uninstall and reinstall in safe mode then i would have that option
when i reinstalled everything in virus chest was gone
now i have no sound and cannot use system restore
can this be remedied ?
it is a creative sound card in windows xp.
